Gründung Innovativ: A Brandenburg-state (Germany) grant program for small and medium businesses

In 2018 ThinkSono was awarded the Gründung Innovativ grant by the Investitions- und Landesbank Brandenburg (business promotion bank in the federal state of Brandenburg). The grant program supports business activity with up to 100,000 EUR in subsidies.

The planned project by ThinkSono encompasses the conformity with CE mark regulations for medical products according to ISO 13485 and EIC 62304 as well as setting up internal development and quality management processes in regards to ThinkSono’s AutoDVT product. ThinkSono is supported in this task by the Johner Institut.

The project is still running until 31.12.2020.

The project is supported by the Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labour and Energy of the Federal State of Brandenburg (MWAE) from funds of the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Federal State of Brandenburg.

 

 

Start MTI : Innovative start-ups for human-technology interaction

In 2020, ThinkSono was awarded the StartMTI grant by the German Ministry of Education and Research. The grant aims to strengthen the innovation potential of start-ups in the field of cutting-edge research on human-technology interaction

The research approach pursued in the project is to provide the nursing staff with an artificial intelligence (AI) system that can give interactive, comprehensible recommendations for action in real time for the operation of an ultrasound probe. Machine learning methods are linked with interaction design methods. The aim of the project is to develop an AI-based interaction system that is geared towards the challenges of complex clinical diagnostic procedures in order to reduce the dependence of ultrasound diagnostics on doctors.

In 2020 ThinkSono received funding for internal innovation with regards to digitalisation and automation of clinical data analysis as well as for digitalisation of quality management procedures and regulatory product documentation.

The projects run until 11.2022 and 11.2021 respectively.
